Font Evaluation

This font is called BSide. The type of audience that this font intends is a younger audience that enjoy grafiti writing as i think this looks simular. I think this because the letters look very simular to most types of grafiti especially with the dots in the I', which make the letter and the words look very interesting. the only difference between this and graffiti is that graffit is usually more curved than straight edged. The font is hard to read as the letters have been 'cut' into pieces. this font says Visit but it is difficult to make out and so i will not be using this on my work.

This font is called Myriad Pro. The type of audience that this font intends would be anyone as the font is big . I think this because the letters look very clear, many people would be able to understand what the words on the magazine say if i used this font. Making this font Bold might also impact the font too and make it stand out more.
Also changing the colour to make it more eyecatching, depending on what colour background i choose to use for my Cover, Contents Page and double Page spread.

Changing the background to black means that all these colours are more eye-catching and have a stronger affect on the audience.
This font is called OCR A Std. The type of audience that this font intends would be anyone who likes the differents this has. this is a creative font and so looks different to other fonts used on magazines. i would like to keep the font conventions when creating my magazine and so will not be using this font.

Changing the colours of this font has a good affect in making it stand out but because the font is not onething simular to what a magazine would use i think the colours make it look too extreme.
