This contents page seems to be plain and boring like the last. This contents page is for the magazine NME which is a magazine on indie rock, punk rock and alternative rock music. As this magazine is about rock music the colours on the contents page are darker like the last contents page. These colours will relate the magazine to the audience. As the stereotypical audience for the magazine is people who enjoy listening to light rock music. The dark colours will help each person relate to the magazine.
The layout of the contents page is compact but unconventional as it looks more like a newspaper. This layout seems to be boring and crammed with too much information and because the magazine has a target audience of teenagers, which do not usually read newspapers, they may find this contents page uninteresting to look at. There is only one image on this page. This is so that the image is of a large scale so that the viewer can see the image up close. This makes the reader see the image and think that the page looks more appealing and therefore would make the reader continue looking at the magazine.
